TeraGrid Venture Investments Appoints Chuck Hirsch as Managing Partner of Capital Markets

TeraGrid Venture Investments is thrilled to appoint Mr. Chuck Hirsch as Managing Partner of Capital Markets, where he will spearhead collaborations with our growing consortium of private and institutional investors to drive sustainable growth in emerging markets.

With over 40 years of high-impact experience in investment, business building, and policy, Chuck’s career highlights include co-founding and presiding over Dare to Dream Intertainment, which Microsoft acquired in 1995, leading to his role as Group Product Planner at the tech giant until 1997, where he contributed to innovative product strategies.

He has served on influential boards, such as Vice Chair of the Microsoft Alumni Network from 2007 to 2025 and a member of the Microsoft Alumni Foundation, fostering philanthropy and alumni engagement.

Earlier, as the founding President and CEO of Michael Jackson’s Heal the World Foundation from 1993 to 1995, he built the organization from the ground up, assembling its board and launching domestic and international humanitarian programs that touched countless lives.

Chuck’s proven track record, including his tenure as Managing Director at Madrona Venture Group, positions him to elevate TeraGrid’s mission of transformative, community-focused investments.
